“Expedition. Arctic cuisine” restaurant

On June 14, 2002, the “Expedition” restaurant was opened – the first and the only restaurant of arctic cuisine in Russia. The idea to show the diversity of arctic cuisine came to us during one of the expeditions to the Polar Urals, when our team was left without food supplies. And we decided – there should be a restaurant of arctic cuisine in Moscow and there will be a real rescue helicopter in the center of the restaurant room.

And the main principle of the restaurant (the authenticity of everything!) appeared during the same trip. We prepare our courses only from natural products, delivered from the North (from Archangelsk to Kamchatka). And when it’s the season we prepare delicacies ourselves (such as wild duck, berries, and birch syrup). The team of our chefs and waiters annually arranges culinary research expeditions in search of new recipes to the faraway corners of our country and they have already visited the North, the Urals, the Baikal, Altai and the White Sea. We’re looking for live people and they willingly share their favorite recipes with us.

We invite you to visit a corner of true nature in the center of Moscow-pine wood, the smell of fire smoke, mountain river, songs with guitars and an orange helicopter, landed on the fringe of the forest.
